Rheumatologist - Tulsa, OK Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Position OverviewSeeking a compassionate and skilled Rheumatologist to join an expanding Rheumatology department in Tulsa, OklahomaOpportunity to become part of a growing, well-established team serving a diverse adult patient populationCurrent team includes 5 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers, with plans to add an additional provider to meet increasing community demandKey ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient care for adult patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditionsManage autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, and musculoskeletal conditionsPerform joint injections and biopsies (muscle biopsies managed by General Surgery)Participate in hospital call rotation (1 in every 6 weekends), with weekday relief when covering weekend callUtilize Dragon voice recognition and Epic for efficient documentationCollaborate closely with onsite specialists, including Endocrinology, ENT, Podiatry, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, and Urgent CareWork ScheduleMonday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM4.5 clinic days per week dedicated to patient careWeekend call: 1 in every 6 weekendsWeekday and weeknight call shared among 5 providersDepartment HighlightsEquipped with Sonosite ultrasound and diagnostic microscopyInfusion services available through affiliated inpatient and cancer treatment facilitiesCollaborative clinic environment with access to comprehensive specialty referrals, including pain managementPediatric Rheumatology not offered locally; pediatric patients aged 11 and older may be seen for consultsStreamlined documentation using Epic and Dragon voice recognitionQualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in RheumatologyExperience in adult rheumatology and musculoskeletal conditions preferredStrong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient careCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary with wRVU incentive structureRelocation assistance providedCME stipend of $4,400 annuallyCommencement bonus of $25,000 availableComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match
