Job Description Manage family law matters from intake through resolution Handle divorce, custody, placement, child support, maintenance, paternity, and restraining order matters Advise clients on legal strategy, risk, likely outcomes, and cost considerations Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and related family law filings Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings Negotiate settlements and help clients resolve disputes efficiently where possible Advocate effectively in contested matters when litigation is necessary Maintain strong communication with clients and provide a high-touch service experience Work collaboratively with leadership and the broader team to support excellent client outcomes Meet a minimum billable expectation of 120 hours per month Qualifications 3+ years of family law attorney experience Strong experience handling divorce, custody, child support, and related domestic matters Ability to manage cases with a high level of independence Strong drafting, advocacy, and client communication skills Courtroom and litigation experience preferred Wisconsin bar admission strongly preferred Mediation experience is a plus Professional, empathetic, and client-service-oriented approach Why You Will Love Working Here This is a strong opportunity for a family law attorney who wants substantive work, direct client impact, and the ability to grow inside a boutique environment.
