Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing care across various specialized pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, pediatric medical-surgical, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in critical care pediatrics and be comfortable floating among different units.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients across multiple specialized units.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs in a dynamic environment.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.Adhere to established protocols and guidelines in all aspects of patient care.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU required.Previous experience in NICU is essential.Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred.Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required, which can be submitted as pending.Epic experience is required.Must adhere to established float policies.VA nursing license pending applicants will be considered.Work Schedule:Days 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00).Options for 36 or 48 hours per week.Must be available every other weekend and every other holiday.No block scheduling can be accommodated.Time off requests must be approved, with restrictions during the first two weeks of the assignment.If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding float pool position.
