Job Title:

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist)

Location:

Detroit, MI 48236

Duration:

26 weeks

Shift:

5*8 hr shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality computerized tomography (CT) scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate CT equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with facility standards
Ensure proper use of radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver effective patient care
May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment

Required Qualification:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable)
Knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient care standards

Current Certifications:

ARRT (R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist
ARRT (CT) - Computed Tomography Certification (preferred or required based on facility)
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in CT imaging
Experience with general diagnostic radiology procedures
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
