UNC Health Medical Group (UNCHMG), in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, NC, is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join the team.

Schedule: Full-time, 7am-7pm (7 days on-7 days off)

EMR: EPIC

Information about the position:

• Open ICU
• Must run codes
• No required procedures
• Avg 14-17 pts per day, per Physician

Required:

• Medical School or DO School
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency
• New Trainees are welcome to apply

Education Requirements:

• Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• DEA;ACLS;MD

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Reasoning Ability: High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
