Position Casual Sales Ambassador Hours 4‑19 hours per week Location Liberty Center Salary $15 USD per hour Overview Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships, consistently surpass daily sales goals, and create a fun, inclusive environment that keeps customers returning. The role focuses on personalising product recommendations and creating memorable experiences that reflect Lush’s commitment to ethical, animal‑testing‑free, vegetarian, handmade cosmetics. Responsibilities Sales and Customer Experience Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals, taking ownership of results and growing store contribution. Deliver a world‑class customer experience, listening attentively, asking open‑ended questions, demonstrating product benefits, and ensuring a positive visit. Educate customers on Lush brand values (Animal Testing, Freshness, Ethics, Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging) and promote brand through community engagement and store initiatives. Expand product knowledge continuously, staying current on ingredients and product benefits to make informed recommendations. Team Involvement Develop effective sales techniques through Lush resources, assess performance, and seek feedback and training to elevate skills. Promote open communication and a sense of belonging, fostering teamwork and recognising unique contributions. Operational Excellence Maintain punctuality, reliability, and participation in teamwork, prioritising wellbeing and staying informed of company updates. Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. Follow visual merchandising guidelines for real‑time product display adjustments, stocking, and inventory management. Adhere to company standards for opening/closing procedures, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. Required Qualifications Excellent customer service skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business. Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. NOTE: Candidates under 18 will be employed on a contract basis through the Lush Youth Employment Program, in line with local regulations. Preferred Qualifications Experience with consultation‑based customer service models. Strong problem‑solving skills for day‑to‑day operations. Experience working in a team environment. Experience in skincare or cosmetics. Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration or DEIB/social justice training. Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
