Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and student-centered Abridge Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Abridge Program.

This role serves as a key point of coordination among students, teachers, residential staff, parents, school administrators, and external program partners . The Program Manager will be responsible for monitoring students’ academic progress, coordinating residential operations, supporting student development, and ensuring effective communication among all parties involved in the program.

The ideal candidate has experience in education, teaching assistance, academic counseling, student services, or program management and is comfortable working directly with high school students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Support & Student Progress

• Regularly monitor students’ academic progress, attendance, assignments, and overall school performance.
• Follow up with students regarding incomplete assignments, academic concerns, and areas requiring additional support.
• Communicate with teachers, Teaching Assistants, and academic staff to understand students’ progress and needs.
• Provide students with guidance on study habits, time management, organization, and academic expectations.
• Identify students who may require additional academic support and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain student progress records and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

2. Residential Program Management

• Coordinate the daily operations of the residential component of the Abridge Program.
• Manage and communicate with Dorm Managers regarding student supervision, schedules, responsibilities, and reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain residential policies, SOPs, operational procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor student attendance, curfews, weekend leave requests, room checks, and residential conduct.
• Coordinate responses to student health, safety, behavioral, and emergency situations.
• Ensure residential staff complete required student evaluations, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and on time.

3. Student Support & Engagement

• Serve as a primary point of contact for students regarding academic, residential, and general program-related concerns.
• Build positive relationships with students and provide appropriate guidance and support.
• Coordinate student activities, community-building programs, holiday events, and other program activities.
• Monitor students’ overall adjustment and engagement within both the academic and residential environments.

4. Program & Partner Coordination

• Serve as a key liaison among the school, residential staff, parents, and external program partners.
• Maintain regular communication with program partners regarding student progress, operational matters, and program needs.
• Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and action items among different stakeholders.
• Ensure important student and program information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and coordinating resources across different teams.

5. Program Operations & Documentation

• Develop and maintain program SOPs, student tracking systems, evaluation forms, residential records, and other operational documents.
• Track program tasks, deadlines, student cases, and follow-up items.
• Prepare regular student and program updates for school leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve program processes, communication, and overall student experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Educational Counselor, Academic Advisor, Student Services Coordinator, Program Coordinator/Manager, or similar education-related role preferred.
• Experience working directly with middle school or high school students strongly preferred.
• Experience monitoring or supporting students’ academic progress is highly preferred.
• Experience in residential life, boarding programs, or student housing is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with students, parents, teachers, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple student cases and operational responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle sensitive student matters professionally.
