Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient store performance. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees, providing training, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Manage store opening and closing, monitor operational statements, and analyze sales and expenses to identify business trends and opportunities. Oversee inventory management, ordering, stock presentation, and merchandise display according to company standards. Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages and markdowns, and ensure financial integrity through cash handling and security procedures. Lead customer service efforts, maintain a clean and safe environment, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety protocols. Complete necessary documentation and communicate performance, conduct, and safety expectations regularly. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math calculations. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience in retail management and familiarity with legal and safety policies preferred. Bilingual skills may be advantageous depending on location. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
