Interior Carpenter

About This Role


Experienced Interior Carpenter needed for interior finish work on construction projects in Cartersville, GA and surrounding areas. You'll install and finish trim, doors, cabinets, stairwork, and other interior structures on residential and light commercial jobs. This is hands-on, full-time work. Expect to read plans, do layout and measuring, operate hand and power tools, and keep the jobsite safe and clean. Competitive pay, steady schedule, and opportunities for overtime for the right candidate.


What You'll Do

• Measure, cut and install interior trim, base, casing, crown molding, and millwork
• Install doors, frames, hardware, cabinets and built-in casework with precise fit and finish
• Perform interior framing, blocking and stair assembly as needed
• Read plans and layout work; verify dimensions and call out discrepancies
• Operate hand and power tools safely; sand, stain, and finish work to spec
• Maintain clean, safe jobsite and follow safety procedures (housekeeping, fall protection)

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of interior finish carpentry experience on residential or light commercial projects
• Strong measuring, layout and trim-fitting skills; able to work to tight tolerances
• Comfortable using saws, routers, nail guns, drills, routers and finish tools
• Reliable transportation to jobs in Cartersville and surrounding towns
• Able to work on ladders/scaffolds, lift 50+ lbs, and stand for full shifts

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-hour construction card or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to read plans and perform basic construction math
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights (ladders/scaffolds)
• Willing to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
