Twin County Recovery Services, Inc. is seeking Counselor Assistant for a men's reintegration residential program located in Hudson, NY.

This role provides general support to Case Managers and SUD Counselors, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for program participants. No specialized skills are required, but the ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Have knowledge of addiction/co-occurring disorders through course work and/or job experience is a plus.

You must be dependable and have reliable transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Case Managers and SUD Counselors with administrative tasks (filing, organizing paperwork, data entry).
• Greet and check in program participants, helping them navigate program resources.
• Monitor and maintain a welcoming, safe environment in communal areas.
• Provide transportation assistance (if applicable) or accompany clients to appointments when needed.
• Assist with daily living activities, including distributing supplies or coordinating group activities.
• Help set up and clean up for group meetings, workshops, or special events.
• Offer encouragement and support to participants as they work through their reintegration process.
• Observe and report any concerns regarding participant well-being to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to program policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
