HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

RN CATH LAB (746) 8:00AM-6:30PM

Location: Chippenham Hospital

Address: 7101 Jahnke Rd, Richmond, VA 23225

Number of Beds – 3 cath labs

· Number of Staff – 10-11 staff per day in cath lab

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – Mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists

o Night Shift – 0

· Patient Ratios – 3 staff per room

· Type of equipment – GE X-ray/MacLab

· EMR – Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): 

· Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations

· Impella, balloon-pump

· Peripheral cases

· Complex PCIs

· Occasional devices

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· RN ACLS BLS

· None

Dress Code :

· Scrub Color/Attire – Light blue (hospital will provide)

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

· Act professional and attendance is vital

· Able to report to hospital within 30 minutes of call-back

Weekends and On call (if any):

· On call some weekends and week days
