As a full-time HVAC Inventory Analyst - Travel Required with Johnstone Supply, you'll play a key part in our data analysis, demand forecasting, and operational improvement initiatives. We value their hard work and show it through our bonuses, competitive pay, and great benefits.Salary: $55,000 to $65,000/year (based on qualifications)Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) with match, company-paid life insurance, paid holidays, generous PTO, and a supportive and respectful work environmentINVENTORY ANALYST: YOUR ROLEIn this data analysis position, you will:Maintain accurate records and review data to uncover trends and valuable insightsCollaborate with warehouse, operations, and procurement teams to keep stock levels high and processes efficientIdentify inefficient procedures and data discrepancies and take the appropriate corrective actionsTrack vital KPIs to measure your success (inventory turnover, stockout rate, carrying cost, forecast accuracy, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment rates)Strategically forecast inventory demands and plan replenishments accordinglyValidate and cleanse inventory record dataBrainstorm methods for reducing carrying costs/stockouts and improving our overall efficiency/productivity/profitabilityOUR IDEAL INVENTORY ANALYSTBachelor's degree in a field like statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering3+ years of experience in inventory, operations, or supply chain analyticsHVAC Experience preferredAdvanced Excel proficiency, with knowledge of macros, pivot tables, and Power QueryExceptional data analysis skills and comfort with statisticsAnalytical problem-solving abilitiesWorking knowledge of inventory management and supply chain methodologiesAbility to use visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to present data insightsComfort using inventory management software and an ERP system like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuiteDo you have what it takes to drive substantial improvements and make a widely felt short- and long-term impact?
