Perform telephone triage, patient education, handle physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; assist with appointment scheduling, hospital test or admission arrangements. Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all such activities in the chart. Assist physicians with procedures as necessary; lead apron required during procedures. Assist with procedures involving patients with conscious sedation. Respond to patient questions and concerns as a liaison between physician and patient. Report all test results to patients as directed by the physician. Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on patient needs and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation. Qualifications Current IL RN licensure Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current BLS certification required; ACLS required but may be obtained within 3 months if hired Prefer minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting, though new graduates under specific circumstances may be considered Compensation Base pay range: $32.67 – $49.01 per hour (actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity).
