Job Description:
This position involves monitoring participants during an exercise-based research study. You will perform health screenings, observe participants throughout the session, and provide immediate medical assistance or first aid if any health concerns arise. The primary focus is ensuring participant safety while they use study-related equipment and complete the exercise activities.
- Provide intake screening for health status to successfully conduct an exercise study that meets the study requirements (~48 minutes maximum per visit)
- Monitor exercise sessions for participant safety.
- Provide any necessary preventative care or immediate medical assistance to reduce risk of participant injury.
- Work with any local emergency services in case of incident or correspond with site leadership if participants are screened out for health reasons.
