Senior Product Manager

Job Summary As a Senior Investments Product Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader driving key investment technology initiatives for an industry-leading wealth management division managing over $75 billion in client assets. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between investment business lines (portfolio managers, trading teams, strategy developers), trust backend operations, and third-party software vendors. You will own the product vision and roadmap for the systems and tools supporting core investment operations, including newly adopted platforms designed to modernize client model creation, portfolio alignment, and transaction execution. This position demands a balance of high-level strategic alignment with leadership and confident, hands-on execution. location: Kansas City, Missouri job type: Permanent salary: $110,000 - 120,000 per year work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities Strategic Roadmap & Vision: Partner with business leaders to define, prioritize, and communicate product vision, roadmaps, and execution status to senior leadership and front-office teams. Vendor & Platform Management: Lead vendor evaluation efforts and manage ongoing relationships with software partners to execute strategic plans and optimize system capability. System Execution & Modernization: Act as the primary decision-maker across cross-functional teams executing product and platform enhancements. Business Case Development: Prepare comprehensive business cases for new products, feature requests, and system updates to drive business prioritization. Operational Support & Training: Serve as the primary lead for product training and oversee the seamless transition of day-to-day product support to operational teams. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Product Management or Program Management experience. Leadership: 2+ years leading cross-functional teams across technical or operational disciplines. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in Wealth Management, Trust Operations, Asset Management, or Financial Services. Core Skills: Exceptional business acumen, strong problem-solving capabilities, and proven success working autonomously across multi-priority projects. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with portfolio management systems, model management tools, or trust operations platforms. Track record of translating complex backend workflows into intuitive product features.
