Job Details Location: Arizona Office - Phoenix, AZ 85035 Salary Range: $23.00 Hourly Freight Dispatcher Coordinator Quicksilver Express Courier is an on-demand delivery company looking to hire a full time Freight Dispatcher Coordinator. If you are detail oriented and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, then this is the position for you! MUST be reliable! MUST work well with others! This is not an entry-level or customer support position. You will be responsible for managing a fleet, adjusting routes in real time, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule. Responsibilities Dispatch and coordinate daily routes for a local fleet Build efficient routes and adjust based on real-time conditions Manage multiple drivers handling time-sensitive deliveries Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues quickly Coordinate with warehouse staff on freight movement and dock schedules Prioritize urgent shipments and maintain service levels Track shipments and maintain accurate system updates Ensure driver productivity and route efficiency Coach new drivers as part of their on-the-job training, providing additional instruction and guidance. Requirements (Must Have) Previous freight dispatch or logistics coordination experience Experience managing multiple drivers/routes simultaneously Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure Strong organizational and multitasking skills Clear communication with drivers and operations teams Familiarity with the Phoenix metro area Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience freight dispatching local delivery or courier drivers Background in time-sensitive or same-day logistics Qualifications High school diploma/GED required Strong knowledge of the metro and surrounding areas Background experience in a dispatch environment with problem resolution skills Exhibit a strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations Strong written and oral communication skills are essential Ability to Multi-task Must be reliable and punctual - maintain excellent attendance Basic computer skills -- will use windows-based software Basic to advanced typing skills -- Minimum 34 words per minute Capable of working in a fast-paced environment PREVIOUS DISPATCH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. #J-18808-Ljbffr
