Personal Banker Associate I

Role Overview Selected candidates will become a Retail Personal BankerI after completing a 4‑8 week onboarding and education program. The role focuses on using consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ financial needs. Responsibilities Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles. Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions. Utilize CAMP and marketing tools to proactively reach customers and set appointments. Focus on cross‑selling and outside sales activities such as onsite presentations and community events. Work closely with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to refer customers. Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals, enhancing year‑over‑year revenue growth. Provide guidance to CSRs regarding sales and referral process. Adhere to banking policies and procedures, including the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Participate in consumer loan and bank card processes from application to closing. Assist in opening/closing the Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed. Stay current on procedures to mitigate fraudulent activity and risk. Qualifications College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in financial industry preferred. Strong sales ability with comfort in acquiring new customers and cross‑selling. Ability to use advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis. Professional appearance and communication skills. Knowledge of retail policies and procedures to exercise sound judgment. Must hold S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS at time of employment.
