Do you get bored doing the same monotonous job every day? Are you good with electrical wiring and are you a mechanically inclined fabricator or skilled handyman who enjoys building really cool products? We are a family-owned tow truck upfitting and customization company for the past 14 years and we have grown significantly since our inception. We recently moved to a brand new 6 truck-bay facility and our employees love it. Our business continues to grow and we're looking to add a mechanic/truck upfitter to our team in Plainville, MA. Check out the scope of work and our benefits below.
Scope of Work: Fabricate or retrofit a variety of small to medium trucks to meet the specifications set by our clients for building the tow trucks of their dreams. Strong knowledge and experience with electrical systems, wiring and lighting is required. Good mechanical skills are desired. Good knowledge and experience with hydraulics is desirable but we will train you if you don't.
Benefits: Competitive hourly pay DOE + annual bonus (No Flat Rate) Generous health insurance plan that covers 90% of monthly premiums $2000 annual HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement) that rolls over to the next year if needed to pay for additional medical and dental expenses. 2-week PTO that accrues on day 1 and increases up to 3 weeks with tenure Paid holidays including 1 week off the week of 4th of July. A friendly and professional working environment Paid and on-the-job training. We don't expect you to know everything so we will train you on the skills you need to be successful at this job. Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) workweek No weekends! A very well-equipped and clean facility A place you can be proud to work at and call "home"!
Qualifications: Strong electrical, hydraulic and/or mechanical fabrication skills; a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
