Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Monte Nido Rosewood Tempe Tempe, AZ Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi‑disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state‑of‑the‑art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking an Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work at Monte Nido Rosewood Tempe located in Tempe, AZ. This position is 8-10 hours/week. Responsibilities Include: Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations. Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions. Maintain current and correct progress notes. Psychotropic medication management. Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed. Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate. Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning. Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program. Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP. Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible. Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services. New graduates are welcome; experience is highly desired, and we consider clinical rotations and/or practica to be clinical experience.
