PSYCHIATRIST (Fee-for-Service Contract)

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a Licensed Psychiatrist to join our dedicated interdisciplinary team on a Fee-for-Service basis . This is a unique opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a meaningful and rewarding setting, supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across the Finger Lakes region of New York.

As a trusted clinical leader, you will play a critical role in advancing the mental health, independence, and quality of life of the people we support through comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's unique strengths and needs.
• Provide medication evaluation, prescribing, and ongoing medication management.
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, nurses, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and make clinical adjustments to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Support best practices in behavioral health care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.
• Current DEA Registration.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.

Location Flexibility

Seneca, Cayuga, or Yates County

We are willing to work with you to determine the location(s) that best meet your availability and preferences.

Compensation

$130 - $150 per Hour

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, specialized expertise, and market considerations.
