Minimum Job Requirements:

Current New York State licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description:

School-Based Approximately 6.5 hours per day (6-hour school day plus bus transportation to and from school)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing services for an elementary school student with a disability in a school setting. This position requires close supervision of the student's health needs throughout the school day, including during transportation to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student during the entire school day and while riding the bus to and from school.
• Observe, monitor, measure, and document the student's health status and report relevant data to appropriate personnel.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform clinical procedures as needed. Support the student in safely and fully accessing the school environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, healthcare providers, and family to support the student's individualized health and educational needs.
