We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal performance of our diesel vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics in daily operations.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with management to improve shop efficiency and workflow.
- Order and manage inventory for necessary parts and supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- ASE certification in diesel technology is a plus.
