Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

As an RDH, you'll be an important preventive healthcare provider and clinical partner within the practice.

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, debridement, fluoride, and other hygiene services within your scope
• Assess periodontal health, perform periodontal charting, and identify areas of clinical concern
• Capture diagnostic x‑rays and maintain thorough clinical documentation
• Educate and motivate patients on oral health, home care, periodontal needs, and preventive treatment
• Identify periodontal and restorative concerns and collaborate with the dentist on comprehensive treatment recommendations
• Administer local anesthesia and adjunctive periodontal therapies when licensed and appropriate
• Build trusted relationships that keep patients engaged in their long‑term oral health
• Maintain exceptional infection‑control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinical standards

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• 1+ year of dental hygiene experience preferred *Open to all experience levels
• Local anesthesia certification preferred
• Strong periodontal assessment and patient‑education skills
• Excellent communication and a gentle, patient‑first approach
• Collaborative, dependable, and committed to providing high‑quality care
