Shipping & Receiving Clerk

This job posting is for West Chicago the suburb. Approximately 1 hour from the City of Chicago.

This position is on-site and the hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

We are looking for a person to work in our shipping department as well as operate an electric sit-down forklift to help with incoming deliveries, outgoing deliveries, and distributing raw material to CNC work stations.

Responsibilities

• Receiving raw materials and recording them into our system
• Transporting raw materials to CNC work stations
• Staging raw materials for production operations
• Loading finished goods onto trucks
• Packing boxes with finished materials
• Assisting with other shipping and receiving activities
• Keeping your work area clean

Requirements:

• Previous forklift experience required
• Ability to stand for majority of shift
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods

Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
