As a Senior Tax Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients while leading complex tax engagements from planning through execution. This role is highly client-facing and involves reviewing sophisticated tax returns, providing strategic guidance, and mentoring a team of tax professionals. You will play a key role in developing client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and driving practice growth. This position offers a clear path to Principal, with increasing leadership responsibility and the opportunity to influence the direction and expansion of the practice.

• Lead and manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for tax strategy and planning
• Review complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns for accuracy and compliance
• Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize liabilities and achieve financial goals
• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers, including direct report responsibilities
• Manage multiple engagements, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships (advisory, planning, etc.)
• Support firm growth through business development and community involvement
• Collaborate with leadership on practice operations and long-term growth strategy

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Active CPA license required. 5+ years of progressive tax experience within a public accounting environment. Extensive experience reviewing complex tax returns and leading client engagements. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality tax planning and advisory services. Proven leadership experience with responsibility for managing, mentoring, and developing team members. Strong working knowledge of tax preparation and compliance software. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range $90,000 - $115,000 USD
