HVAC Service Technician

Overview Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Eastern North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, air handlers, boilers, and rooftop units. Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues to minimize downtime for clients. Conduct inspections and provide detailed reports on equipment conditions and recommendations for repairs or upgrades. Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards. Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to clients and supervisors. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and industrial HVAC service. EPA Certification Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to HVAC equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Training or certifications from major HVAC manufacturers (e.g., Carrier, Trane, York). Knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
