Electrical Assembler

Electrical Assembler As an Electrical Assembler, you will support day-to-day manufacturing operations by assembling, wiring, soldering, and testing electronics in accordance with drawings, schematics, and work instructions. This role involves working with low-to-medium volume, high-mix production and requires strong attention to detail, as well as adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform electronics assembly tasks under supervision. Install components, hardware, and subassemblies according to work instructions. Perform hand soldering tasks after training (through-hole or connector soldering). Route, dress, and secure wires and cables. Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wire cutters. Perform visual inspections to verify correct assembly. Identify and report defects or issues to a lead or supervisor. Follow all safety, ESD, and quality requirements. Accurately complete production paperwork or electronic travelers. Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S). Support team members and production flow as needed. Perform final assembly of units per assembly drawings and work instructions. Solder to IPC 610 and J-standard specifications. Touch-up of conformal coat. Mix two-part epoxies using weight and volume ratios. Verify kits for correct part numbers and quantities. Essential Skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Willingness to learn new tasks and processes. Ability to work in a team environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or related experience. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 40lbs. Ability to perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with loud noises, machinery, and controlled chemicals. Must be able to effectively listen, understand, and communicate with team members at all levels. Three years of experience with manufacturing assembly preferred. Soldering Capability (IPC 610 and J-Standard preferred). Chemical handling experience a plus. A demonstrated history of attendance and strong punctuality/work ethic. Work Environment The position operates on a 1st Shift schedule, from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The work environment includes exposure to weather conditions, and work is performed in an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level can occasionally be high, and employees are expected to work comfortably around machinery and controlled chemicals. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47480.00 $58240.00/yr.
