Not only would the right person be a leader in the team but also get to interact with data scientists, traders and customers in multiple time-zones to deliver solutions that need to be rock solid, reliable and performant. From experience, this is what that requires: Computer Science, Programming, and Software Development skills Experience with Back-End Development and Object-Oriented Programming languages Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
