Area Sales Manager, ENT - Salt Lake City, UT

Medtronic seeks an Area Sales Manager for ENT surgical technologies in Salt Lake City to manage territory sales of capital and disposable products to hospitals, physicians, and surgery centers. The remote position requires residing within the territory, extensive travel, and field-based account management to achieve sales quotas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses, and purchase influencers to demonstrate and sell ENT surgical products
• Plan and execute sales calls across hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and physician offices within assigned territory
• Execute Sales Action Plans using own vehicle and transport demonstration equipment and inventory
• Provide clinical support and service to surgical personnel and maintain company-owned equipment in good condition
• Report competitive activity to Region Manager and maintain records and reports in timely fashion

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus 8+ years relevant sales or medical device experience
• Or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years relevant healthcare or medtech experience
• Or Bachelor's Degree plus 4+ years relevant medical sales or life sciences experience
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance with acceptable driving record
• Ability to drive approximately 75% of time within territory and manage 50% overnight travel
