Job Opportunity: Hematology/Oncology Physician (Locum Coverage)

We are currently looking for a Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide locum coverage in Ohio. Below are the key details regarding this position:

Position Details

• Type of Practice: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM
• Patient Volume: Approximately 14-18 patients daily
• On-Call Requirements: No weekend or call coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting patient examinations
• Developing treatment plans
• Prescribing chemotherapy
• Maintaining accurate documentation

Work Environment

• This is a solo position, yet you will be part of a larger healthcare program.
• Utilization of Epic EMR system.
• Full-time coverage is preferred, but we are open to candidates who can commit to consistent weekly blocks each month.
• This is an ongoing need for coverage.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is mandatory.
• An active medical license in Ohio is required.
• Some telemedicine opportunities may be available, though the primary focus is on onsite coverage.
