Express is looking for a Compressed Air Systems Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of our service team, ensuring customer equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

• Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional after-hours or weekend work (approximately 5%)
• Pay $25.00 - $35.00 DOE / will increase as you learn and grow

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressed air systems and associated equipment
• Perform equipment start-ups and system commissioning
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Conduct safety assessments and maintain compliance with NFPA or equivalent standards
• Provide technical support to customers and internal Service Managers
• Document all service activities including work orders, inspections, and time tracking
• Collaborate with Service Coordinators to order and manage parts and materials
• Educate customers on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, audits, and leak detection solutions
• Build strong customer relationships by addressing concerns, recommending improvements, and delivering high-quality service

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Basic maintenance tools
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile technology (smartphones/tablets)

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial or commercial mechanical systems specifically relating to air compressors
• Background in Electrical/Electronics Technology, HVAC, or related field
• Knowledge of:
  • AC/DC circuits and electrical controls
  • Wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Motors and PLC systems
  • HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration
  • Refrigerant certification (a plus)
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to resolve conflicts and identify opportunities

This role involves working in a variety of environments, including:

• Mechanical equipment rooms with high noise levels
• Outdoor conditions and extreme weather
• Elevated or confined spaces
• Exposure to electrical systems (including high voltage)

Physical requirements include:

• Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands
• Lifting and moving equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
