Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts per week | Full-time and 48-hour applicants welcome

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, fetal status, and maternal well-being throughout the birthing process
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe delivery outcomes
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care continuity
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• BLS and applicable specialty certifications required
• Ability to work night shift 12-hour schedules
• Willingness and ability to float to Postpartum as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience in Postpartum nursing settings
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and workflows
