About the Role

As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and working with teams cross functionally to ensure that production runs smoothly. This is a hands-on role that will require a consistent floor presence, proven leadership ability in a manufacturing environment, and an ability to create and follow maintenance plans.

What You’ll Do

• Direct and develop a high performing maintenance team by creating and owning the daily plans
• Overseeing Technicians and Machinists to ensure that maintenance activities are being executed
• Coordinate repair projects, preventative maintenance, and tool room projects
• Align maintenance activities with operational priorities
• Partner with Engineering to evaluate machine health data
• Drive continuous improvement through cost effective, data-informed solutions to recurring equipment issues
• Compile and communicate maintenance performance metrics to support informed decision making
• Manage maintenance vendor relationships, pricing, scheduling, and invoices

What You’ll Bring

• A heavy Industrial manufacturing background
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, electrical systems, motors, and VFDs
• PLC fundamentals (I/O, interlocks, sequencing) and controls troubleshooting ability
• Working knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, and actuators
• Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, controls, and process systems reliably
• Comfortable working with legacy equipment and incomplete documentation (Experience modernizing legacy industrial equipment a plus)
• A strong track record of proven leadership ability
• A willingness to provide a strong floor presence and urgency
• Ability to track and communicate practical maintenance data
