Seeking a dedicated Special Education professional to support students in a vibrant school environment near Philadelphia, PA. This contract position runs from August 24th through June 11th, offering a steady full-time schedule from 7:45am to 4:00pm daily. You will have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with approximately 12 students, promoting their growth and fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience in special education settings
• Ability to obtain current PA clearances (within the past year) or willingness to expedite renewal
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families to optimize student support
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies
• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse needs and learning styles
• Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and achievement
