Association Media Group (AMG) partners with professional and trade associations to deliver advertising and sponsorship programs that genuinely work for both associations and advertisers. We represent our partners with integrity, transparency, and a strong focus on results. We’re seeking a driven advertising sales professional to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for someone who has already proven they can sell, enjoys prospecting and closing new business, and also takes pride in building long-term client relationships after the deal is done. Overview The Role As an Advertising Sales Executive, you’ll manage and grow advertising revenue across a portfolio of professional association partners. You will be selling the association’s advertising products, including digital (banners, enewsletters, programmatic), print (magazines and journals), and events (exhibits and sponsorships). You’ll work directly with advertisers to help them reach highly targeted niche audiences with which they are trying to connect. This is a hands-on sales role that combines hunting for new business with stewarding and expanding existing advertiser relationships over time. Success comes from consistent outreach, thoughtful consultative selling, and delivering campaigns that perform. You’ll have autonomy in how you manage your day, but you’ll also be fully accountable for results. Key Responsibilities Own and achieve revenue targets across assigned association accounts, with goals grounded in realistic, data-driven budgets. Proactively prospect, pitch, and close new advertising and sponsorship opportunities Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with advertisers, focusing on renewals, upsells, and account growth Approach every sale with a consultative, solution-oriented mindset aligned with advertiser goals Serve as a reliable point of contact for advertisers and association partners Maintain a well-organized and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce Participate in client calls and meetings as needed Coordinate campaign fulfillment to ensure advertising is delivered as sold and support timely invoicing and collections Who Thrives in This Role This role tends to be a strong fit for someone who: Has already succeeded in a sales role and wants more ownership and autonomy Enjoys prospecting and closing, not just managing existing accounts Values relationships and understands that repeat business matters Is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently Prefers clear goals and accountability over micromanagement Is motivated by performance, flexibility, and long-term growth What We Provide A collaborative, close-knit sales team with a strong performance culture Established, cloud-based systems (Salesforce, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, email marketing tools) Access to lead-generation support to complement your prospecting efforts Flexibility and autonomy for those who consistently deliver results Clear expectations, transparent goals, and monthly commission payouts We are an independently operated company with a long-standing commission structure. We value clarity and trust and do not believe in frequent compensation plan changes. This is a remote position and requires a dedicated home office. Video calls are frequent, so a professional environment and appearance are important. Travel Occasional travel may be required to support association meetings or events, typically no more than a few days per year. Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission Typical first-year earnings range from $60,000–$80,000 , with upside tied directly to performance. This is the realistic range for the first year and this should be a six-figure position for anyone with sales and relationship-building skills.
