Registered Nurse – Interventional RadiologyOn-call required; 30-minute response time. Call shifts average approximately 10 shifts per 6-week period, which includes one weekend of call. Four weekend shifts required per contract.Unit size: 4 rooms / 4 beds. Daily case volume: approximately 3 scheduled cases; up to 9 cases per day, including emergency cases.RequirementsCompact state license must be in hand at submission.At least 1 year of experience is required; 2 years preferred.Certification in ACLS and BCLS (BLS) is required.NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.Experience with cardiac cath/IR procedures and hemodynamic monitoring is necessary.Experience with circulatory support and advanced IV medication management is preferred.ResponsibilitiesProvide care for adult and geriatric patients in an interventional setting.Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage circulatory support devices.Administer procedural sedation and manage ventilator settings as necessary.Assist in a variety of interventional procedures including angiography and thrombectomy.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Compliance / NotesRequested time off must be included at the time of submission.
