Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

SCHEDULE
10:30 AM - 11:00 PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Current Iowa RN License
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required
- Experience preferred, but not required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide patient teaching and direct the activities of ancillary personnel.
- Maintain professional nursing standards throughout care delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Advocate for patients and provide support to families.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Proof of immunizations and health requirements must be submitted prior to the contract start date.
- Background checks and drug screens are required as per facility policy.
- Completion of mandatory education modules prior to start date is required.
