Manager, Human Resources Business Partner Dearborn, MI, United States (Hybrid) As part of our Human Resources team, you will help us attract, hire, and retain the top talent we need to achieve our bold vision. You’ll play a vital role in defining, developing, and maintaining the winning culture that empowers diverse individuals to work together and create the impossible. We’re seeking change leaders, talent strategists, employee advocates, and culture architects to enable our teams, partners, and businesses to do and be their best. In this role, you will provide strategic HR partnership to business operations leaders and help shape and execute an HR agenda that enables the delivery of the organization’s goals. You will partner closely with senior leaders, the HR Business Partner Director, and peers to optimize talent, engagement, and the overall employee experience. Our HR Business Partners may support any of the following organizations: Electric Vehicles (EVs), Digital, and Design – including product development, software engineering, digital and studio design Industrial System – including product development, vehicle hardware engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing Corporate Capabilities – including finance, enterprise technology, HR, and other corporate functions Go-to-Market – including our global businesses such as, Ford Blue, Ford Model e, Ford Pro, Ford Credit, and Integrated Services Responsibilities HR Business Partners perform a specialized type of HR work focused on consulting with the business, including: HR consulting and coaching: Partner with business leaders to solve significant people and culture issues, providing guidance across key employment areas such as hiring, performance management, rewards, and organization design. Enabling business change: Collaborate with leaders to support and advance proactive People and Culture strategies aligned to business objectives. HR program advocacy: Communicate the business value of HR initiatives and support program rollouts in a way that minimizes disruption to operations. Talent Partnership: Work closely with business leaders and Human Resources Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent and Recruiting) on key initiatives such as workforce planning, high-potential development, succession planning, etc. Organization Design and Change Management: Support leaders through organization design efforts and lead medium- to large-scale change initiatives impacting teams and functions. A great HR Business Partner is someone who: Establishes trust and credibility quickly with leaders and stakeholders at all levels Demonstrates the ability to influence and appropriately challenge stakeholders across the organization Brings strong written and verbal communication skills Applies data and analytics, quantitative reasoning, and data storytelling to inform decisions and drive outcomes Works collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Is action-oriented, persistent, and courageous in navigating complex situations Is motivated, decisive, and driven to succeed in ambiguous, fast-paced environments Demonstrates strong emotional resilience in the face of change and challenge Qualifications You will have: 5+ years of HR experience Willingness to relocate, depending on location of job Experience with organization design and change management Willingness to work in person at Ford’s Dearborn, MI headquarters Even better, you may have: Master’s degree in Human Resources, an MBA with a concentration in human resources, or advanced degree in a related field (e.g., industrial/organizational psychology, organizational effectiveness, organizational development, human factors, social science) Experience in management consulting Experience supporting a global team Experience supporting Tech/Design teams Experience with recruiting, including executive recruiting, and onboarding Strong project management skills with a high level of attention to detail We encourage you to apply!
