Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Role: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Responsible for preoperative evaluations, postoperative follow-up, and acting as a patient advocate, confidant, and liaison between patients, families, and physicians. Key Duties Administers anesthesia across a diverse case mix, supporting nearly all case types except heart/lung transplants and burns. Supports anesthesia services at multiple non-OR sites including GI/Pulm, Cath/EP lab, IR, OB, and MRI. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team within a Level I Trauma Center environment. Qualifications & Skills Master's Degree in Nursing required. Ability to practice anesthesia with a broad patient demographic, including pediatric and adult patients. Support from specialists and subspecialists. Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
