Lead a high-accuracy, high-velocity distribution center

Your impact across operations

• Run daily warehouse operations: safety, housekeeping, 5S, Lean, production efficiency/effectiveness, shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy.
• Track and act on KPIs daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually to meet production and shipment schedules.
• Drive cost containment—build the pipeline of savings/avoidance projects and deliver year-over-year reductions.
• Maintain ISO compliance and uphold the UPM and ONI Code of Conduct and Ethics policy.

Lead and grow the team

• Hire, train, and review performance with the Operations Manager and HR.
• Set quantitative objectives aligned to Operations and UPM/ONI strategic priorities.
• Create development plans through annual reviews; coach for performance, behavior, and career progression.

Role scope

Direct and indirect reports vary by location; you’ll coordinate across functions to align resources and equipment usage.

What you’ll bring

• Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt certification (or an identified path to obtain it).
• 5+ years of leadership with measurable results in warehouse/distribution/manufacturing.
• 5+ years of warehouse/distribution/manufacturing experience.
• Associate Degree in a related field or an equivalent blend of education and experience; High school diploma or GED with two years related experience/training (or equivalent) also considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communicator across all levels; strong interpersonal skills; sound decision-making under pressure; collaborative and results-focused.

Core knowledge & abilities

• Language: interpret safety rules, operational procedures; draft reports and correspondence; present effectively to groups.
• Mathematics: whole numbers, fractions, decimals; rate/ratio/percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning: apply common sense to written/oral/diagram instructions; solve for multiple variables in standardized settings.

Schedule

First Shift 5 am to 330pm Monday-Thursday
