Feed Mill Associate - Mill Operator

Overview Gold-Eagle Cooperative , located in the heart of Galt, IA, is hiring a Feed Mill Operator on our second shift. We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a competitive wage of $22 - $29 per hour , based on experience. A 30-day probation period applies before benefits are available. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring efficiency of deliveries. Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized workspace for seamless operations. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams on various tasks, applying problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Operate computer‑controlled systems and maintain regular attendance to support production processes. What We Need From You Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, work in confined spaces and heights, bend, kneel, climb, lift up to 55 lbs, and adapt to various weather conditions Ability to operate a computer‑controlled system Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work weekends and overtime if needed Positive, professional, and respectful attitude; safety‑oriented Valid driver’s license and a good driving record Previous experience in maintenance‑related disciplines is preferred, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.
