Become a part of the "strength within."Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:Contributing to our safety-first culture that includes a consistent use of personal protective equipment to ensure your safetyConducting various quality tests on resin, prepreg and carbon fiberUtilizing various measurement devices effectively such as balances, scales and calipers to meet testing specificationsManipulating and reduce data in lab test computers to verify resultsCollaborating with other departments to ensure the manufacture of a quality product.Accurately documenting test resultsOrganizing and prioritizing workload to produce results efficientlyPerforming quality inspection on manufacturing processesWorking a rotating 8 to 12 hour shift with the opportunity for 7 consecutive days off each monthQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredAbility to conduct and understand basic arithmetic and measurements using a calculator and rulerBasic computer skillsAbility to urgently address situations and events that require a quick responseWillingness to work overtime as neededDemonstrate basic written and verbal communication skillsAbility to physically perform the functions of the jobPossess strong interpersonal skills for training and customer interfacePrevious experience with chemical, mechanical, or physical testing is a plusEligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
