Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $20.75 / hour plus incentives. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Warehouse Loader ensures loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Loading route vehicles in accordance to load sheets
• Ensuring the product is properly counted and tagged with account information to ensure accurate loading of trucks.
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklift, lift gate, dock-leveler and wrap machine
• Ensuring damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
• Keeping the work area clean and accessible
• Safely operates essential warehouse equipment, including forklifts, wrap machines and other automation
• Ensures that the warehouse is kept neat and orderly to promote safe and efficient operations
• Maintains favorable working relationships with employees and customers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution environment
• 21+ years of age preferred
• Previous experience operating a forklift preferred

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions
• Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak‑season schedules may be required
