Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU (RRT-NICU)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment providing comprehensive respiratory care for critically ill neonates.

Key Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapies as prescribed for neonatal patients.
Monitor and assess patient respiratory conditions and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic health record system (Epic).
Participate in clinical education and training programs as required.
Float between different units as needed to meet staff requirements.

Work Schedule

Shift: Night - 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Weekends: Required every other weekend
Block schedules will be utilized

Patient Care Ratios

The expected patient care ratio is 1:15.

Qualifications

Must possess critical care experience, with prior NICU experience preferred.
Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required.
Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required.

Additional Information
