Job Title : Vault Clerk / Vault Attendant
\nPay Rate : $32/hr on W2
\nLocation : New York, NY
\nDuration : 6 Months Contract with a possible extension
\n \nJOB DESCRIPTION:
\n• Manual lifting to a maximum of 75 lbs. This is more of a warehouse type Role
\n• Assist in the packaging and storage of metals within the vault. Each precious metal has specified packing and storage guidelines and is maintained in a specific vault location. Manual placement on shelves and pallets requires physical lifting of bars.
\n• Processing of deliveries and out shipments of material within time frames agreed by management and the business.
\n \nThis would require both manual and paperwork processing.
\n• Ability to accurately update the Banks Inventory system when material is moved internally via transfers, shipped in
\nor out of the facility and communicate discrepancies accordingly.
\n• Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risks in accordance with regulatory standards, policies and
\npractices, report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
\n• Adhere to Health & Safety and Security procedures at all times.
\n• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
\n \nDecision-Making Responsibility:
\n• Have a flexible approach to meet the business demands.
\n• To maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points
\ntogether with any issues raised by external regulators.
\n• Performs according to prescribed procedures.
\n \nKnowledge and Skill Requirements:
\n• High school diploma
\n• Computer knowledge / skills required
\n• Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously and manage their time efficiently.
\n• Ability to work within time frames required by the business with the ability to determine risks to the business.
\n• Warehouse experience.
