Sr. Mainframe Developer
Job Location: Newport Beach, CA
Job Type: Contract
Must have skills:
- Good experience in application support and maintenance
- Good working experience in COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM
- Working experience in IBM ZOS stack Compuware ISPW tools
- Experience in handling L15L2 support
- Need to have good problem solving skill
- Have experience in writing new JCLs Procedures
- Review access for terminated or transferred users
- Review access for new users
- Set up batch reports to extract info
- Set up batch control cards to update info
- Experience in CA7 schedule changes
- Create yearly request for DASD requirements and revise as needed
- DASD management reports
- DASD management report offload
- Rerun Production
- Rerun Model office
- Rerun document
- Resolve unknown incidents and adhoc requests
- Handle operational changes and functional enhancement requests
- Participate in identifying problems, perform root cause analysis, contribute to knowledge base, and participate in activities like Release acceptance
