Overview The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The SMIT program is a 16‑week, self‑paced, collaborative training that includes virtual and hands‑on learning experiences to develop you as a leader. Key Responsibilities Support the store as a member of the management team. Engage with leaders in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion. Lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Perform customer‑care duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Required Skills and Experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor. High‑school diploma or GED required; a four‑year college degree preferred or relevant work experience may be considered. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Compensation & Benefits Anticipated weekly hours: 45. Full‑time position.Hourly pay range: $18.50 – $28.67. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
