To learn more about the practice, please visit our website at DETAILSAtlanta Gastroenterology Associates - Stockbridge Medical OfficeThe role is primarily located in our Stockbridge office, with travel to the Riverdale office required 1-2 days each week.GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIESResponsible for providing medical assistance to patients in office and in hospital, and receives training and direction from practice physicians.RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include but are not limited toRunning daily GI outpatient clinicAccurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or proceduresAnswering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient mannerAbiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient informationREQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCEMaster of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner. GI experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
