ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract opportunity in Pendleton, South Carolina. This position offers the chance to work with middle and high school students in grades 6-12, providing individualized speech and language services that support communication, academic achievement, and overall student success. The ideal candidate is a fully licensed SLP who enjoys working with adolescents in a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings for students in grades 6-12.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student's communication needs.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and educational planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with district and state requirements.
• Monitor student progress and modify intervention strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Appropriate South Carolina school certification or eligibility required, if applicable.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this position.
• Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.

Experience:

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience working with middle and high school students is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with IEP development, evaluations, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Work Hours:
Full-time, 35 hours per week

Contract Dates:
August 6, 2026 – May 25, 2027

Student Population:
Grades 6-12

Caseload:
Approximately 40-50 students with a varied caseload.
