Plant Director

Nexus Search is retained on a confidential basis to find a Plant Director for a growing beverage manufacturer in Wisconsin. This is a rare chance to take full operational ownership of a modern production site at an inflection point. The business has recently come through a significant period of investment in assets, equipment, and capability. The next phase is about turning those investments into sustained performance, and this leader will own that agenda end to end. Reporting to the US Managing Director, you will lead the full site: brewing, packaging, quality, maintenance, engineering, and health and safety. You will set the manufacturing strategy, build the leadership team, and embed the operating discipline that takes a site from good to genuinely best in class. What you’ll own Full plant performance across safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, and people Equipment reliability, OEE, changeover performance, and waste reduction across multiple product formats A structured Total Productive Maintenance operating system, not just a maintenance program Development of a high performing, accountable site leadership team The operational foundations to support future growth and innovation In your first 12 to 18 months Build a clear performance roadmap with measurable KPIs and ownership at every level Stabilize core operations and lift shop floor discipline through standard work and daily management Deliver visible gains in reliability, downtime, quality consistency, and OEE Strengthen a culture built on safety, ownership, and continuous improvement What we’re looking for Significant plant leadership experience in beverage, brewing, food, or process manufacturing A strong track record deploying TPM or lifting TPM maturity, with measurable impact on OEE, downtime, waste, and quality Experience leading cultural and operational transformation in environments that need more structure and discipline The ability to set priorities, stay close to execution, and remain steady under pressure Degree in Engineering, Operations, Food Science, Brewing Technology, or a related field preferred; lean, TPM, or Six Sigma credentials a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
